casual I enjoy a casual evening with friends. “casual”有几个意思，比如偶然发生的，没有确切目的的，随便的，适用于非正式场合的。 The word casual has several definitions such as, happening by chance, without definite or serious intention, and appropriate for wear or use on informal occasions.

causal There is a causal relationship between higher gas prices and the type of cars purchased. 而“causal”意指原因的，跟连词“because”和“since”类似。 Causal means to imply a cause, similar to the conjuctions because and since.
