Demonstrative pronouns
Demonstrative pronoun can indicate person and things,in a sentence,they can take place of noun, verb, adjective and adverb which modify extent. "这" zhè and "那" nà are usually refer to person and things. "这里" zhèli, "那里" nàli, "这儿" zhèr and "那儿" nàr are refer to place in general. (1) 这里的人很善良。 (2) 那儿的风景很美。
"这会儿" zhèhuìr and "那会儿" nàhuìr are refer to time, "这会儿" means now. (1) 这会儿他正在回家的路上呢。 (2) 那会儿我还不认识他。
"这么" zhème, "那么" nàme, "这样" zhèyàng and "那样" nàyàng are refer to extent, form, character, and so on. (1) 他一直这么关心别人。 (2) 他总是那样固执。
