The adverb as a conveyor of mood

An adverb is used to modify the adjective or verb as an adverbial adjunct and should precede the word or words being modified. Verbs or even nouns ending with the character "地" de and functioning as adverbs remain to be regarded as adjectives.

Some adverbs can show the mood of the sentences, such as "可" , "幸亏" xìngkuī , "多亏" duōkuī , "难道" nándào , "何尝" hécháng , "居然" jūrán , "究竟" jiūjìng , "到底" dàodǐ , "偏偏" piānpiān , "索性" suǒxìng , "简直" jiǎnzhí , "反正" fǎnzhèng , "却" què , "倒" dào , "也许" yěxǔ , "大约" dàyuē , "好在" hǎozài , "差点儿" chàdiǎnr , "果真" guǒzhēn , "敢情" gǎnqing , "明明" míngmíng , "果然" guǒrán , etc.
