nciku Note

Ruin something by adding extra gimmicks

There was once a group of men who were given a beaker of wine as a gift. Since there was not enough wine for all of them, they decided to each draw a picture of a snake, and whoever finished first would be given the wine. One of the men drew very rapidly, but upon seeing that the others were still drawing, he added feet to the snake. At this moment, another man finished and snatched the beaker away, drinking all the wine. "A snake doesn't have feet" he said, "How can you add feet to a snake?"
