“捕”、“逮捕”、“捉”都是动词，但用法有区别。
捕，逮捕 and 捉 are all verbs but they have different usages.
1.表示捉拿归案等，多用“捕”、“逮捕”；用“捉”较口语化，是非正式的。“被捕”、“捉奸”是常见搭配。
To mean "to arrest," 捕 and 逮捕 are often used; 捉 is informal; 被捕, 捉奸 are both common phrases.
(1)他因涉嫌敲诈被捕（逮捕）了。
（2）警方已经出动了警力去逮捕（捕/捉）逃犯了。
（3）他在公车上偷窃的时候被捉了个正着。

2.表示获取猎物，用“捉”和“捕”，前者口语中更常用。
捉 and 捕 can be used to mean “ to hunt for prey"; the former is more casual.
“捕鱼”、“猫捉老鼠”等是常见搭配，例如：
捕鱼，猫捉老鼠 are common phrases, e.g.:
(1)这是一个好天气，渔民们纷纷出海捕鱼。
（2）猫晚上捉老鼠，白天睡觉。
（3）这里的野兔太狡猾了，你根本就没有办法捉（捕）到它们。

3.表示用手握或抓，用“捉”（文言遗留），如“捉笔”、“捉刀”、“捉襟见肘”等。
捉 also means “to grasp with one's hand” (archaic), such as 捉笔(" to hold a pen"), 捉刀 (" to write an article, etc. for somebody else, to ghost write"), 捉襟见肘 (" to pull together one's lapels to conceal raggedness, only to expose one’s elbows"), etc.
(1)他发誓今后不再捉笔写文章了。
（2）那段时间，他捉襟见肘，生活十分窘迫。
（3）这篇文章一看就不是他写的，不知道这次是谁为他捉刀。
