不依 [bùyī]

1. 1. not comply; not go along with

   我们劝他休息，他怎么也不依。

   We advised him to have a rest, but he simply wouldn't hear of it.

   不依老人言，吃亏在眼前。

2. 2. not let off easily; not let somebody get away with it

   你要是再这样，我可不依你。

   If you do this again, I won't let you off so easily.

   他可不依你这样胡搅蛮缠。
