A preposition is used before an object, noun, pronoun or a phrase, to form a phrase that describes a place, position, direction, method, time, object, aim, or the passive voice. Prepositional phrases can be used as adverbial adjuncts, objects, attributives or compliments. “对”，“对于”，“关于”，“至于”，“和”，“跟”，“同”，“与”，“为”，“给”，“替”，“于”，“把”，“将”，“叫”，“让”，“被”，“比”，“朝”，“向” can be used as prepositions to introduce the recipients - objects - of an action. “被” may be used to introduce the doers of an action.
