主意, 办法 and 措施
zhǔyì, bànfǎ and cuòshī
The nouns 主意, 办法 and 措施 all mean “measure, method of dealing with business or solving problems.” 措施 is more formal, and is applied to more serious problems; 主意 can also mean “one’s own judgment, method, etc.” and is applied to serious business as well as small affairs.
(1) 你一向足智多谋，不如你给我拿个主意吧。
(2) 我觉得你这个主意（办法）不错。
(3) 看来你是打定主意不回头了？
拿个主意 and 出主意 are idiomatic phrases meaning “to think of a way or to countermeasure;” 打定主意 means “to make a decision.” The other two words cannot be so used.
(4) 要是发生什么情况，我们还可以采取相应的措施来应对。
(5) 这些措施好像并没有起到什么很大的作用。
(6) 他成天不学好，连他妈妈都拿他没办法。
没办法 here means cannot do anything, and is a common casual phrase. To mean “a general way or procedure to deal with a matter or solve problems,” the three words are interchangeable.
(7) 这真是一个不错的办法（主意/措施）。
(8) 这是他想出来的办法（主意/措施）。
作为名词时三个词都可以表示处理事情或解决问题的方法、程序。“措施”较正式，用于较大的事情；“主意”还可以表示主见、办法等，大事小事都可以用。
“拿个主意”、“出主意”都是习惯搭配， 是“想办法”、“想对策”的意思。“打定主意”表示做好了决定。其他两个词都不能这样用。
“没办法”这里表示无能为力，是口语中常用的。
在一般的处理事情、解决问题的程序、方法时，三个词可以通用。
