办事 and 做事
bànshì and zuòshì
1. Both 办事 and 做事 are verb-object phrases. 办事 is used with official business.
(1) 他这次是来北京办事的。
(2) 他办事一向稳妥。
Some elements can be inserted between 办 and 事; similarly, "办事" can even be reversed to indicate the affairs' level of importance.
(3) 办完了这事，我们终于松了口气。
(4) 他这事办的不错。
2. 做事 can mean "to work in an organization or a company"
(1) 他在一家媒体做事。
(2) 我今天做了很多事。
1.“办事”和“做事”都是动宾词组。“办事”连用时，多表示从事公务或比较大的事，如机关或组织。
“办”和“事”种概念插入其他成分或分开，甚至颠倒时，所指的事可大可小。
2.“做事”连用时有在机关单位、公司等从事工作的意思。
