别人 vs. 他人
biérén vs. tārén
1. 别人 means "another person or other people" or "another person or other people besides oneself".
(1) 这里也没有别人，你就说吧。
(2) 我可以带别人来吗？
(3) 你就按照自己的想法来做，不用理会别人的看法。
(4) 你不要看不起别人。
2. 他人 has the same meaning as 别人, but is more literary and mostly used in more formal statement, maxims or four-character phrases.
(5) 他很自私，从来不顾他人的死活。
(6) 他做了很多惠及他人的事。
1.“别人”表示除了提到或指定的人或者除当事人以外的人。
2.“他人”意思和“别人”相同，但书面色彩较强，多用于较正式的表述、格式或四字语中。
