The adverbs indicating limits
An adverb is used to modify the adjective or verb as an adverbial adjunct, it should be put before them. Verbs or even nouns ending with character "地" de and functioning as adverbs remain to be regarded as adjectives.
A part of adverbs can indicate limits, such as "都" dōu , "统统" tǒngtǒng , "一共" yígòng , "总共" zǒnggòng , "共" gòng , "一起" yìqǐ , "一块" yíkuài , "一同" yìtóng , "一齐" yìqí ,"一道" yídào , "一概" yígài , "一味" yíwèi , "净" jìng , "只" zhǐ , "就" jiù , "仅仅" jǐnjǐn , "独" dú , "唯独" wéidú , "单" dān , "光" guāng , and so on. (1) 我们都 是学生。 (2) 树上一共 有九只鸟。 (3) 我们一同 去上学。 (4) 你不要一味 表扬自己。 (5) 我们都 在,唯独 他不见了。
