Prepositions as introducers of objects

A preposition is used before an object, noun, pronoun or a phrase, to form a phrase that describes a place, position, direction, method, time, object, aim, or the passive voice. Prepositional phrases can be used as adverbial adjuncts, objects, attributives or compliments. “对”,“对于”,“关于”,“至于”,“和”,“跟”,“同”,“与”,“为”,“给”,“替”,“于”,“把”,“将”,“叫”,“让”,“被”,“比”,“朝”,“向” can be used as prepositions to introduce the recipients - objects - of an action. “被” may be used to introduce the doers of an action.
