喉咙 vs. 嗓子
hóulóng vs. sǎngzi
1. Both 喉咙 and 嗓子 are common names for pharynx and throat. The latter is colloquial while the former is more literary. Sometimes, the two words are interchangeable.
(1) 他这几天喉咙（嗓子）疼，说不出话来。
(2) 别抽这么多烟，对喉咙（嗓子）不好。
2. 嗓子 also means "voice"; 喉咙, used in some fixed phrases can mean the same thing.
(1) 你的嗓子真好，这么高的音都能唱上去。
(2) 我今天嗓子哑了。
(3) 他天生有一副好嗓子。
1.“喉咙”、“嗓子”这两个词都是咽部和喉部的统称，后者常用在口语中，前者较书面化。有时两个词可以互换。
2.“嗓子”还表示嗓音；“喉咙”在一些固定短语中也可以表示嗓音。
