两个词都表示没有危险和意外的意思。“安全”一般涉及比较大的事，“稳妥”则侧重于表示较具体的事。“安全” 还侧重于客观上不出事故，“稳妥”则是主观上没有什么漏洞，有时还表示人的性格倾向。
Both words means "a situation without danger or mishap "; 安全 concerns more with important business, while 稳妥 is applied to concrete affairs. The former objectively stresses the absence of mishap and the latter subjectively stresses the absence of personal error. 稳妥 may also describe a person's disposition.

1. 安全
（1）有关部门会采取一些安全(adj.)措施在保障游客的人身安全(n.)。
（2）最终，我们安全抵达了指定地点。
（3）大家要注意安全(n.)。

2.稳妥
（1）做这件事要尽量稳妥些，不要出什么岔子。
（2）这么重要的事，你们还是当面说清楚比较稳妥些。
（3）他办事有时不够稳妥。
有时两个词也可以互换，但是侧重点有所不同。
Sometimes the two words are interchangeable, yet with different stresses.
（4）让她单独一个人回家，未免也太不安全（稳妥）了。
