安排 vs. 安置 ānpái vs. ānzhì
1. Both words mean "to set or arrange the staff properly ". 安排 stresses the order of importance and urgency, while 安置 stresses the whereabouts.
(1) 公司安排他去广州出差。 Gōngsī ānpái tā qù Guǎngzhōu chūchāi。 The company is planning a business trip to Guangzhou for him.
(2) 灾民的安置工作已经完成。 Zāimín de ānzhì gōngzuò yǐjīng wánchéng。 The arrangement for victims of the tragedy has been completed.
Sometimes the two are interchangeable.
(3) 我会安排(安置)好他们的工作的。 Wǒ huì ānpái(ānzhì)hǎo tāmen de gōngzuò de。 I have already written their schedules. I will arrange their work schedule.
2. Both words means “to handle or deal with something reasonably" generally concerning personnel matters.
(1) 父亲母亲安排她这个周末去相亲。 Fùqīn mǔqīn ānpái tā zhègè zhōumò qù xiāngqīn。 Her parents arranged a blind date for her.
(2) 你去安排一下明天的事。 Nǐ qù ānpái yíxià míngtiān de shì。 You plan tomorrow’s events.
(3) 移民的住处已经安置(安排)好了。 Yímín de zhùchù yǐjīng ānzhì(ānpái)hǎole。 The immigrants’ accommodation has been arranged.
3. 安排 also means to make a long-term program or reform whereas 安置 does not mean that.
(1) 公司正在安排厂房的改建问题。 Gōngsī zhèngzài ānpái chǎngfáng de gǎi jiàn wèntí。 The company is arranging the factory’s reconstruction.
(2) 他已经对名年的学习任务做出了安排。 Tā yǐjīng duì míngnián de xuéxí rènwù zuòchū le ānpái。 He has already planned next year’s assignments.
4. To 安置 something means " to find a suitable place for"; 安排 does not mean that.
(1) 那些家具都安置好了吗? Nàxiē jiājù dōu ānzhì hǎo le mɑ? Has the furniture been arranged yet?
(2) 你能帮我安置一下这些行李吗? Nǐ néng bāng wǒ ānzhì yíxià zhèxiē xínglǐ mɑ? Can you help me find a good place for this luggage?
Both 安排 and 安置 can be used to mean "the transfer of personnel, or placing one's trusted follower in a post ".
1. 这两个词都有恰当地处理人员的意思,“安排”侧重于有先后秩序、轻重缓急,“安置”侧重于有着落。 有时两个词可以通用。 2. 两个词还有合理地处理事物的意思,这时多用“安排”;少数情况下用“安置”,多与人事有关。 3. “安排”还有规划、改造的意思;“安置”没有这个意思。 4. “安置”有放置好东西的意思,“安排”没有这个意思。
