安装 and 装配
ānzhuāng and zhuāngpèi
安装 means " to install " and 装配 means " to assemble ".
In the following three sentence, 安装 is used and cannot be replaced by 装配.
(1) 新开发的系统已经在这台电脑上安装好了。
(2) 这个大楼里安装了监控器。
(3) 这扇门上没有安装猫眼。
In the two sentences below, only 装配 can be used.
(4) 技术工人已经把这些零件装配到机器上了。
(5) 装配车间的工作量已经完成了。
When talking about complicated equipment of a large scale which involves both installment and assembling, the two are sometimes interchangeable.
(6) 这里还没有安装（装配）发电机组。
(7) 他们正在对这些大型设备进行装配（安装）。
“安装”是把机器、器材、设备等固定在合适的位置上；“装配”则是把零件、部件组装成整机。
下面的三个例句只能用“安装”而不能用“装配”。
下面两个例句，则只能用“装配”而不能用“安装”。
一些比较复杂、大型的装置，既有安装又有装配的问题。这时两个词可以互换。
