床 and 床铺
chuáng and chuángpù
Both words mean “bed.” 床 can be singular or plural in number; 床铺 is a general classifier, meaning “all sorts of beds."
(1) 屋子里有两张双人床。
(2) 这张床的床单很漂亮。
(3) 这间床铺家具都很简单的房间是我的。
The two words are not interchangeable. In some cases, they both indicate plural number.
(4) 学校给学生们添置了一些床铺(床)。
这两个词都表示供人睡觉的家具。“床”可以是复数或单数。“床铺”是总称，即一般的床和用木板搭的床，泛指各种床。
两个词一般不可互换。在少数情况下，两个词都可以表示复数。
