这两个动词都表示知道、熟悉。“懂”常做谓语,也可以做补语。“懂得”只做谓语。
Both verbs can mean “to understand, to be familiar with.” 懂 is used either as the predicate or as a complement. 懂得 can only be the predicate.
(1)你懂(懂得)这句话的意思吗?
(2)他把这个问题弄懂了。
(3)他看不懂中文。
(4)有不明白的地方就要问,不要装懂。
例(1)中“懂”做谓语,例(2)和(3)中“懂”做补语,例(4)的“懂”做宾语。
In example (1), 懂 is the main predicate, 懂得 can replace 懂 in this example. In example (2) and (3) 懂 is the complement. In example (4), 懂 is an object.
(5)我从这件事当中懂得了一个道理。
