咱们 vs. 我们
zánmen vs. wǒmen
Both words mean “we” or “us”. However, 我们 usually indicates the talking side in a conversation, while 咱们 indicates both sides.
(1) 这件事就交给我们吧，你别担心。
(2) 都这么晚了，看来咱们得快一点了。
(3) 我们已经帮你把东西准备好了。
(4) 晚上咱们一起吃饭吧？
But in colloquialism 我们 can also include the opposite side.
(5) 晚上我们一起吃饭吧？
In colloquialism 我们 sometimes means 我.
(6) 我们家停电了。
(7) 在我们家乡，每年有很多这样的事情发生。
这两个词都是第一人称的复数形式。但“我们”一般指说话双方中的己方。而“咱们”则指说话的双方。
在口语中，“我们”有时也可包括对方。
“我们”口语中也可指“我”。
