播放, 播送 and 播音
bōfàng, bōsòng and bōyīn
播放 can mean “to broadcast either through radio or through television”, whereas 播送 only means “to broadcast through radio”. 播音 is a verb-object phrase meaning “to broadcast a program”. In examples (1) and (2) below, either will do.
(1) 今天这个电台将 播放（播送）一段他的录音。
(2) 这首歌明天晚上将在这个电台 播送（播放）。
播送 can also mean “to broadcast a specific piece of news”, but 播放 is rarely used like this.
(3) 下面将 播送一则有关奥运会的新闻。
(4) 接下来将 播送今天的天气预报。
To broadcast a film, television series or other programs by television, 播放 is usually used.
(5) 体育频道什么时候 播放比赛录像？
(6) 电视台寒暑假通常都会 播放许多少儿节目。
播音 can be expanded into phrases such as 播音员, 播音室, 播音时间, etc., and can be decomposed.
(7) 他姐姐是这个电视台的 播音员。
(8) 播完 音以后，又去赶稿去了。
“播放”可表示通过广播放送，也可表示播映影视片等等；“播送”只表示通过广播传送或放送，“播送”只表示通过广播传送或放送；“播音”是动宾短语，表示通过广播播送节目。例（1）（2）中，表示广播放送时，用“播放”、“播送”都可以。
“播送”还可表示通过广播传送具体消息，“播放”一般少用。
当表示通过电视放映电影、电视片及节目等，则用“播放”。
“播音”可说“播音员”、“播音室”、“播音时间”等，并可拆说。
