敏捷 and 敏锐 mǐnjié and mǐnruì
1. 敏捷 stresses on being nimble and quick, and is mostly applied to action and behavior. (1) 他动作敏捷,一下子就冲过来接住了下落的背包。 (2) 他敏捷地接住了下落的背包。 (3) 他身手敏捷,这个动作对他来说应该不难。
2. 敏锐,with the stress on being nimble and acute, is mostly applied to a sense or perception. (1) 一个好的警察,应该具有敏锐的观察力。 (2) 他用敏锐的目光看了我一眼。 (3) 虽然是一个很小的细节,但是还是被她敏锐地感觉到了。
When applied to things both nimble and sharp, the two words are interchangeable, but with a different stress. (4) 他的思维敏捷(敏锐),一句话就击中了问题的要害。 (5) 反应敏捷(敏锐)是一个优秀的辩手应该具有的素质。
1. “敏捷”侧重于灵敏迅速,多用于动作行为。 2. “敏锐”侧重于灵敏锐利,多用于感官、感觉。 但在同时修饰灵敏迅速和锐利的事物中,有时这两个词可以互换,不过在意义上有侧重。
