Prepositions as introducers of objects

A preposition is used before an object, noun, pronoun or a phrase, to form a phrase that describes a place, position, direction, method, time, object, aim, or the passive voice. Prepositional phrases can be used as adverbial adjuncts, objects, attributives or compliments. “对”,“对于”,“关于”,“至于”,“和”,“跟”,“同”,“与”,“为”,“给”,“替”,“于”,“把”,“将”,“叫”,“让”,“被”,“比”,“朝”,“向” can be used as prepositions to introduce the recipients - objects - of an action. “被” may be used to introduce the doers of an action.

e.g. (1)他对我很好。 (2)对于你来说,这只是一场游戏。 (3)至于故事的结局,我早就忘记了。 (4)我和(跟,同,与)他同桌三年了。 (5)我为你准备了一份礼物。 (6)我给你准备了一份礼物。 (7)我替他向你问好。 (8)技术应该服务于生产。 (9)我把自行车修好了。 (10)我将自行车修好了。 (11)叫(让)过来一下。 (12)你的自行车被我修好了。 (13)你比他高。 (14)他朝(向)终点冲了过去。
