The adverbs indicating time

An adverb is used to modify the adjective or verb as an adverbial adjunct, it should be put before them. Verbs or even nouns ending with character "地" de and functioning as adverbs remain to be regarded as adjectives.

A part of adverbs can indicate time, such as "刚才" gāngcái , "刚刚" gānggāng , "已经" yǐjīng , "早" zǎo , "就" jiù , "正在" zhèngzài , "马上" mǎshàng , "一直" yìzhí , "老是" lǎoshì , and so on.
