The adverb indicate degree

An adverb is used to modify the adjective or verb as an adverbial adjunct, it should be put before them. Verbs or even nouns ending with character "地" and functioning as adverbs remain to be regarded as adjectives. Some adverbs can indicate degree as well, such as "很", "极", "挺", "怪", "太","非常","极其", "最", "更", "相当", "稍微", "略", "比较", "有点", "多么",”几乎”, and so on.

e.g. (1)他的想法很独特。 (2)当时我觉得怪不好意思的。 (3)这件衣服有点贵。 (4)你是最棒的。 (5)这道菜稍微咸了一点。
